The Vision

 The rising cost of living is a challenge we must address. I will advocate for creating more job opportunities for Caymanians, strengthening consumer protection policies, and taking control of our fuel purchasing to reduce the fuel factor impacting costs. By working together, we can ease the financial burdens faced by our community and ensure a more sustainable and affordable future for all. 

Strong families create strong communities. I am committed to supporting youth development programs that provide children and families with the tools they need to thrive. By organizing community events, we can foster greater engagement, transparency, and togetherness.

Additionally, I will work towards creating more family-friendly spaces and activities, ensuring that our community has safe and inclusive environments for everyone to enjoy. Investing in families and social development is key to building a united and resilient Cayman Islands.

Hurricanes are a reality we face all too often, making it essential that we are prepared. We need a proactive plan to protect our community. I am committed to strengthening disaster readiness by implementing clear strategies, improving communication, and ensuring resources are in place to support our community before, during, and after storms. Together, we can create a safer and more resilient Newlands. 

 Education is the foundation of our future. Every child deserves an education that meets their needs, whether they are visual, auditory, or hands-on learners. We must ensure students receive the right tools not just for success in school, but throughout their lives.

The District Council and I pledge to support our teachers by providing them with the necessary resources, training, and support to help our children thrive. Additionally, I will advocate for the creation of a proper trade school to train electricians, plumbers, and other skilled professionals, giving students hands-on training for stable careers.

To better prepare students for the future, we must enhance our education system by collaborating with businesses to offer internship opportunities, ensuring our youth have real-world experience and a clear pathway to success after graduation.

I am committed to enhancing the safety and well-being of our neighborhoods through initiatives like Neighborhood Watch, improved policing, and the installation of CCTV cameras at key junctions such as ICCI and North Sound Estates. Our parks must be upgraded with Wi-Fi, restrooms, and security cameras to create safe and welcoming spaces for all.

I will also advocate for a public transportation system in our community to assist caregivers and residents who face long walks every morning and evening. Additionally, we need better infrastructure, including sidewalks, drainage systems, and safe, sheltered bus stops for our children.

Once elected, the District Council and I pledge to every four months at ICCI grounds to provide updates on our progress, discuss concerns, and engage residents in decision-making. This will be an opportunity for our community to come together, stay informed, and unite in shaping a stronger future for everyone.

We all know the daily struggle of traffic congestion. I am committed to completing the East-West Arterial Road to reduce traffic and save valuable time for workers, students, and families.

Beyond road expansion, I will advocate for government policies allowing civil servants to work from home 2-3 days a week where possible, helping to ease congestion during peak hours. Additionally, I will collaborate with private schools to encourage school bus usage, reducing the number of vehicles on the road.

A proper public transportation system is critical for long-term traffic solutions, and I will push for its development. To further address bottlenecks, I will advocate for the construction of overhead passes at key intersections, ensuring a smoother, free-flowing traffic system in and out of town.
